This year sees the following achievements :
* Trinity Academy sent 60 students into Higher Education (compared with 11 in 2005)
* In terms of Value Add Trinity scores 1050 putting her in the top 3% of schools nationally
* GCSE % 5 A *- C grades are above the local and national levels for the fourth year running
* GCSE % 5 A *- C grades ( including English and Mathematics )are above the local and national levels for the second year running
* Trinity 17% above FFT band D estimate for the year group, highest in Doncaster by 16%.

The Academy is very pleased with the tremendous progress made during 2008/9. The dramatic increase in the percentage of students achieving 5+ A*-C inc E&M from 19% in 2006 to 55% this year means that;

The numbers of students in the Sixth Form has dramatically increased from 71 in 2005 to 227 in 2009. It might have been expected that an increase in numbers would lead to a decrease in academic standards due to increased class sizes and a lower average level of attainment on entry to KS5.
However, during this time the academic standards in the Sixth Form have continued to rise and as a consequence the number of students going on to study at university has increased from 11 in 2006 to 48 in 2009 and this year there are 80 UCAS applications in process. Many of these students come from families where no relative has previously attended university.

Among the top performers are Head Boy in waiting Martin Handley, who achieved six A*s, three Bs and one C, Head Girl in waiting Tanya Sullivan with six A*s, four As and one B; Nathan Gould four A*s, three As and two Bs and Ben Guilfoyle with three A*s, seven A and one C. Kirstie Oldknow gained 3 A*, 5A and 1 C.
